Programs

Sammy Splash is an adapted aquatics program for children and youth (3-21 years old) with disabilities of all skill levels. Roger Coldiron from SJSU Kinesiology Department, Kinesiology students enrolled in KIN 107 work as volunteer teachers, learning how to adapt instruction based on the learners' needs and create a successful and enjoyable learning environment. The program aims to increase social interactions, develop swim/water orientation skills & increase fitness components.
